CHICAGO BEARS PREVIEW

I'll say what I've said all along. The only thing Jay Cutler will accomplish in Chicago is to get Lovie Smith fired! Which is sad because I think Lovie has shown himself to be one of the best coaches in the league. But won't he perform so much better with Mike Martz as the OC? No. In fact this offense will need to run the ball which is clearly their strong point. But more to the point, how are you going to win if you can't block? Preseason should not be a judge, but judging the offensive line's matadorial disposition is painful.

What about Julius Peppers? Overrated. Not bad. Not a bust. He just chooses when he wants to play. This defense is finally showing its age. The only thing that can save the Bears is finding holes in the running game to spare Cutler the punishment he so richly deserves. PREDICTION: 3-13
