PHILADELPHIA EAGLES PREVIEW

Ok now! Kevin Kolb looks fine, but did not seem to pick up blitz packages. Do you think that's going to be just a bit of a problem? The OL is makeshift at best. I expect serious problems if your right side can't block and the QB can't adjust protection on the blitz. I'm pretty sure DC's around the league might exploit this deficiency. LeSean McCoy is a fine back and will have a fine career, but he doesn't have the explosion I'm looking for. DeSean Jackson is a star and one can only hope that Jeremy Maclin doesn't regress by dropping as many passes in the regular season as he did in the pre season. Brent Celek will get a lot of catches.

The defense looks solid but is young. Nate Allen is the new starting free safety. He is the rookie we received with the 2nd round pick we got for Donovan McNabb. He is a gem and a future star. Stewart Bradley is back and Ernie Sims is there on the outside. Assante Samuel  leads the CB's and Ellis Hobbs seems to have improved. Rookie DE Brandon Graham looks like the real deal too. The Eagles kept 10 of their 13 draft picks on the roster as well as 2 undrafted rookie free agents, meaning that over 20% of the roster are rookies.

PREDICTION: 8-8
