Still No QB Controversy in Philly

There is clearly no quarterback controversy in Philadelphia...if you're Andy Reid. And the fans don't think there's a controversy either, except they disagree with Reid on who the clear leader of the offense should be.

Yesterday during the Eagles 35-32 win over the Lions, Michael Vick completed 21 of 34 passes for 284 yards and 2 touchdowns, added 7 rushes for 34 yards and scrambled to get out of trouble on at least a half-dozen occasions. One of the 610-WIP radio personalities said last night that "no other QB in the NFL could have won that game" and that Vick's performance "was exceptional."

The chatter on 610-WIP last week was that the fans clearly thought that Vick should be the starting QB, but the radio personalities thought otherwise. All that changed with yesterday's game. Now the radio personalities are on-board too. No one thinks Kolb should return as the starting QB for the Eagles.

But Andy Reid never sides with the fans. He thinks he knows better. Reid can say all he wants that there is no QB controversy in Philadelphia. And there isn't. Unless the Eagles want to win.

Fly Eagles Fly, On the road to Vick-tory!
