Michael Vick led the greatest comeback of his career and one of the great comebacks in Eagles history as the birds overcame a 21 point fourth quarter deficit to beat the Giants and claim first place in the NFC East. It's hard to even think of a superlative worthy of describing what Michael Vick did in the fourth quarter of this game, just like it's hard to think of one to capture the moment where DeSean Jackson returned the punt to ice it. I'm still in shock.

Midway through the fourth quarter DeSean Jackson caught a pass over the middle and appeared at first to fumble it. Replays clearly showed that he was touched on his way down which would have negated the fumble. Andy Reid inexplicably opted not challenge the play, the Giants took over and promptly marched down the field to take a 21 point lead. That’s where it got interesting.

Michael Vick hit Brent Celek for a 65 yard TD on the ensuing drive. Then David Akers executes a perfect onside kick that caught the Giants completely by surprise. Riley Cooper recovers and the Eagles suddenly have all the momentum. Michael Vick then escapes a sack and busts off a 35 yard run inside the Giants 20. A few plays later he runs the ball off tackle five yards for a TD. The Giants get the ball back and manage to take two minutes off the clock before they have to punt. Vick rushes for gains of 33 and 22 before hitting Jeremy Maclin from 13 yards out to tie the game. In 7 minutes, the Eagles had erased a 21 point deficit..

The Giants then get the ball back, Eli Manning throws two passes incomplete then gets sacked on third down by Trevor Laws. Seemingly, the sack seemed to work in the Giants favor because the clock kept running.

With :14 left they set up to punt to DeSean Jackson and the game seemed headed to overtime. Then DeSean happened.

There's a lot to discuss with this game both good and bad... but it's nothing but celebration right now.
