Philadelphia Eagles Great Chuck Bednarik Reportedly in Serious Condition at Lehigh Hospital

From: Yardbarker

Yesterday Eagles legend Chuck Bednarik was hospitalized for suffering shortness of breath, a drop in blood pressure, and feelings of faintness.

CSNPhilly.com reports that he is in serious condition and says that a nursing supervisor at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem would not provide additional information.

With the Eagles, Bednarik played 14 seasons and was arguably the greatest player in franchise history. He was the last two-way player in the NFL and played both center and linebacker for the Eagles in their 1960 championship season.

In that same season, he delivered arguably the biggest and baddest hit in the history of the Philadelphia Eagles, maybe even the National Football League.
