NFL PICKS, WEEK EIGHT, 2012

Last week I was 8-5 & John was 7-6. I am 44-56-4 for the season and John is 43-57-4 for the season. We both had the Vikings this past Thursday.

Here are this weeks picks

1.) New England Patriots (4-3) (-7) at St. Louis Rams (3-4)

There is some temptation to take the points and it wouldn't surprise me with the Rams running game if there was an upset, but I don't think the Rams are there yet.

Prediction: Patriots

2.) Tennessee Titans (3-4) at Home (-3.5) vs. Indianapolis Colts (3-3)

The Colts are a much better home team and Matt Hasselback has stabilized the Titans offense. Oh, and Chris Johnson finally showed up.

 Prediction: Titans

3.) Green Bay Packers (4-3) at home (-14.5) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5)

   Phhhhhfffffttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Prediction: Packers

4.) San Diego Chargers (3-3) (-3) at Cleveland Browns (1-5)

   Ugh!

 Prediction: Chargers

5.) Philadelphia Eagles (3-3) at home (-3) vs. Atlanta Falcons (6-0)

Soooooooooooooooooo!!!!, everyone's on the Eagles as the upset of the week. Andy Reid has never lost off a bye week. Ok, for once I'll bleed green

  Prediction: Eagles

6.) Detroit Lions (2-4) at home (-2.5) vs. Seattle Seahawks (4-3)

Picking the Lions is Fools Gold.

  Prediction: Seahawks

7.) New York Jets (3-4) at home (-2) vs. Miami Dolphins (3-3)

The Dolphins are coming off a bye week. So what?

   Prediction: Jets

8.)  Chicago Bears (5-1) at home (-7.5) vs. Carolina Panthers (1-5)

The Panthers had unrealistic expectations and it looks like Head Coach Ron Rivera is coaching for his job.

  Prediction: Bears

9.) Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3) at home (-4) vs. Washington Redskins (3-4)

The Steelers defense is old and RG III can exploit, but Steve Marriucci on NFL Network points out it is his first game against the 3-4 defense. Hmmmmmm, the Redskins don't have enough talent yet.

  Prediction: Steelers

10.) Kansas City Chiefs (1-5) at home (-1) vs. Oakland Raiders (2-4)

A great, even epic rivalry. Throw out the records!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Prediction: Raiders

11.) New York Giants (5-2) (-2.5) at Dallas Cowboys (3-3)

The Giants are much better than they looked in Week One against the Cowboys.

   Prediction: Giants

12.) Denver Broncos at home (-6) vs. New Orleans Saints (2-4)

      Are you kidding me?

   Prediction: Saints

13.) San Francisco 49ers (5-2) (-7) at Arizona Cardinals (4-3)

   The Cardinals have no QB

  Prediction: 49ers
