NFL PICKS WEEKS 2012

John and I were both 6-8 for the week and are 36-51-4 for the season

The Honor System: I had the Seahawks getting 8, John had the 49ers giving 8 on Thursday. Thanks Jim Harbaugh! Thanks for taking the ball instead of the safety!

Here are this weeks picks:

1.) Buffalo Bills (3-3) at home (-3) vs. Tennessee Titans (2-4)

The Titans are coming off an unexpected victory against the Steelers on Thursday Night. Matt Hasselback has brought stability to the QB position and not a moment too soon for the Titans. The Bills are in a four way tie for first place in the AFC East and coming off a win in Arizona. These two teams have nail biter written all over them.

     Prediction: Titans To Cover

2.) Minnesota Vikings (4-2) at home (6.5) vs. Arizona Cardinals (4-2)

It can be argued that both of these teams were exposed last week against the Redskins and Bills, but at least the Vikings ran into an RG III in D.C., the Cardinals lost at home to Buffalo. But the Cardinals don't lose by a TD.

    Prediction: Cardinals To Cover

3.) Indianapolis Colts (2-3) at home vs. Cleveland Browns (1-5)

The Colts were shown the door by the Jets after their emotional comeback win against the Packers the prior week. Cleveland is 5-1 against the spread and Brandon Wheedon is their future QB. Tough game. Go with the home team.

   Prediction: Colts

4.) Houston Texans (5-1) at home (-7) vs. Baltimore Ravens (5-1)

Even without Ray Lewis, seven is too many

   Prediction: Ravens To Cover

5.) Green Bay Packers (3-3) (-5) at St. Louis Rams (3-3)

The Packers got back on track last week.

   Prediction: Packers

6.) Dallas Cowboys (2-3) (-2) at Carolina Panthers (1-4)

Both teams are coming off a bye week. Carolina is better at home

   Prediction: Panthers

7.) New York Giants (4-2) at home (-6) vs. Washington Redskins (3-3)

The Giants have a bad history against QB's like RG III. In a division rivalry, he'll the Giants enough fits to keep it close.

   Prediction: Redskins to cover

8.) New England Patriots (3-3) at home (-10.5) vs. New York Jets (3-3)

A battle for first place, believe it or not. Too many points.

   Prediction: Jets to Cover

9.) New Orleans Saints (1-5) (-1.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-4)

It is a sign of a pending Mayan Apocalypse as this BUCS game HAS NOT BEEN BLACKED OUT. You read that right. The Bucs have a good history against the Saints.

   Prediction: Buccaneers

10.) Oakland Raiders (1-5) at home (-6) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4)

The Raiders favored by 6? Oh, it's at home and against the Jags? Oh, fuck me having to pick this game.

Prediction: I will not be at the bar watching this snoozer at 4:30. (Jags to cover)

11.) Cincinnati Bengals (4-2) at home (-1) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-3)

   The Steelers age is showing.

    Prediction: Bengals

12.) Chicago Bears (4-1) at home (-6.5) vs. Detroit Lions (2-3)

Too many points for a rivalry.

   Prediction: Lions to Cover
