NFL PICKS WEEK ELEVEN, 2012

Well, I was 7-7 last week and John went 5-9 thanks to our Jets and Eagles picks last week. Go with your head, not your heart.

On Thursday Night John had the Bills and I had the Dolphins.

Here are this weeks' picks:

1.) Washington Redskins (3-6) at home (-3.5) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (3-6)

The Eagles are starting rookie 3rd Round draft pick Nick Foles at QB. He looked like it last week. It doesn't matter how well he plays anyway because the Eagles defense can't tackle and they surely can't catch RG III.

Prediction: Redskins

2.) Green Bay Packers (6-3) (-3.5) at Detroit Lions (4-5)

The Lions can only make a playoff run with a fourth place schedule like last year. This year it's second place schedule.

Prediction: Packers

3.) Atlanta Falcons (8-1) at home (-9.5) vs. Arizona Cardinals (4-5)

The Cardinals have lost five in a row. Make it six.

Prediction: Falcons

4.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-4) (-1.5) at Carolina Panthers (2-7)

When was the last time the Bucs were a road favorite?

Prediction: Buccaneers

5.) Dallas Cowboys (4-5) at home (-7.5) vs. Cleveland Browns (2-7)

I am tempted to take the Browns but not on the road.

Prediction: Cowboys

6.) St Louis Rams (3-5) at home (-3.5) at New York Jets (3-6)

J.E.T.S. JETS! JETS! NOPE!

Prediction: Rams

7.) Houston Texans (8-1) at home (-15) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8)

Really?

Prediction: Texans

8.) Cincinnati Bengals (4-5) (-3.5) at Kansas City Chiefs (1-8)

The Chiefs don't have enough.

Prediction: Bengals

9.) New Orleans Saints (4-5) (-5) at Oakland Raiders (3-6)

If Darren McFadden were healthy this would be a no brainer.

Prediction:  Saints

10.) New England Patriots (6-3) at home (-9) vs. Indianapolis Colts (6-3)

Identical records but not identical talent.

Prediction: Patriots

11.) Denver Broncos (6-3) at home (-8) vs. San Diego Chargers (4-5)

I don't like eight points but I like the Chargers less.

Prediction: Broncos

12.) Baltimore Ravens (7-2) (-3.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3)

Can Byron Leftwich cover at home against hated Baltimore?

Prediction: Steelers to cover.
