Last week I was 9-7 and John was 8-8 bringing our season records to 13-18-1. My week started strongly when taking the Chiefs and the points on Thursday. The NFL is not the PAC12
Here are this weeks picks.
1.) Tennessee Titans (1-1) at home (-3) vs. San Diego Chargers (1-1)
The Titans are not the Eagles.
2.) Minnesota Vikings (0-2) at home (-7.5) vs. Cleveland Browns (0-2)
From Brandon Wheedon and Trent Richardson to Brian Hoyer and Willis McGahee. The Vikings sure got a break in the timing of this schedule.
3.) New England Patriots (2-0) at home (-7) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-2)
The Pats are finding ways to win and the Bucs are finding ways to lose. The points are too many.
PREDICTION: BUCCANEERS TO COVER
4.) Houston Texans (2-0) (-2.5) at Baltimore Ravens (1-1)
Ray Rice is not certain to play and the Texans have toughed their way to 2-0.
5.) Dallas Cowboys (1-1) at home (-3.5) vs. St. Louis Rams (1-1)
Which Cowboys will show up?\
PREDICTION: RAMS TO COVER
6.) New Orleans Saints (2-0) at home (-7.5) vs. Arizona Cardinals (1-1)
The Saints are not playing well and the Cardinals are better.
PREDICTION: CARDINALS TO COVER
7.) Detroit Lions (1-1) (-1) at Washington Redskins (0-2)
The Lions are road favorites in back to back weeks. I'm pretty sure flurries have been witnessed in hell and the seventh seal is about to be cracked open. Fear not, sooner or later the Redskins will show up.
8.) Green Bay Packers (1-1) (-3) at Cincinati Bengals (1-1)
The Bengals can't score enough points.
9.) New York Giants (0-2) (-2) at Carolina Panthers (0-2)
10.) Miami Dolphins (2-0) at home (-2) vs. Atlanta Falcons (1-1)
Falcons are too banged up.
11.) San Francisco 49ers (1-1) at home (-10) vs, Indianapolis Colts (1-1)
12.) New York Jets (1-1) at home (-2.5) vs. Buffalo Bills (1-1)
EJ Manual or Geno Smith?
13.) Chicago Bears (2-0) (-2.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers (0-2)
PREDICTION: STEELERS TO COVER
14.) Seattle Seahawks (2-0) at home (-19.5) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2)
We haven't seen spreads like this since the 1982 Nebraska Cornhuskers, and I'm pretty sure they could beat the Jags today.
15.) Denver Broncos (2-0) at home (-16) vs. Oakland Raiders (1-1)
Too many points in a historic rivalry.
PREDICTION: RAIDERS TO COVER
