Last week I was 7-8, bringing my seasonal record to 24-37-2. John was 4-11 and has a saeasonal record of 23-38-2.
We both had the Browns on Thursday Night.
Here are this weeks' picks:
1.) Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) (-3) at Tennessee Titans (3-1)
The Chiefs are the story of the season and with Jake Locker out this ought to be a no brainer. BUT, the Titans defense can bring it and the Chiefs don't have an electric offense. Sooner or later and I think it's this week the Chiefs don't score enough points.
DOG DAY AFTERNOON.
2.) Miami Dolphins (3-1) at home (-3) vs. Baltimore Ravens (2-2)
The Ravens are up, the Ravens are down, but the Dolphins got exposed on Monday Night.
3.) St Louis Rams (1-3) at home (-11) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-4)
The Rams are coming off a bye week and a disappointing start. Eleven points is a lot for a Rams team at the moment, even against the Jags.
PREDICTION: JAGUARS TO COVER
4.) New England Patriots (4-0) (1.5) at Cincinnati Bengals (2-2)
The Bengals are back to their underachieving ways.
5.) Seattle Seahawks (4-0) (-3) at Indianapolis Colts (3-1)
Seattle has shown its swagger, but the Colts are one of the most physical teams on both sides of the ball in the NFL.
6.) Green Bay Packers (1-2) at home (-7) vs. Detroit Lions (3-1)
Gree Bay is off a bye, the Lions have not won in Lambeau since 1992, but there are too many points.
PREDICTION: LIONS TO COVER
7.) New Orleans Saints (4-0) (-1.5) at Chicago Bears (3-1)
The Bears are begging to implode.
8.) New York Giants (0-4) at home (-1.5) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (1-3)
As bad as the Giants have played this is still a veteran squad with a healthy respect for this rivalry. On the flip side Chip Kelly and this Eagles squad do not seem to get it. The Kelly offense runs fine when your chief rival is Oregon State and looks more and more obvious it should have stayed in Oregon.
9.) Carolina Panthers (1-2) (-2.5) vs. Arizona Cardinals (2-2)
Flip a coin. I don't trust either.
10.) Denver Broncos (4-0) (-9) at Dallas Cowboys (2-2)
This is a no brainer, but I have gnawing feeling that the Cowboys we keep expecting to show up will show up, but that's not good enough.
11.) San Francisco 49ers (2-2) at home (-6) vs. Houston Texans (2-2)
The Texans could easily be 0-4.
12.) San Diego Chargers (2-2) (-5) at Oakland Raiders (1-3)
Philip Rivers is back.
13.) Atlanta Falcons (1-3) at home (-10) vs. New York Jets (2-3)
Maybe the Falcons break out, but I'll take the points.
PREDICTION: JETS TO COVER
